: Not much is known about Gangrel. He wrestled in many independent promotions as the Vampire Warrior, often with his wife Luna Vachon. He was offered a contract by both WWF and WCW, but because his wife, Luna, was in the WWF he signed with them. He originally debuted as a singles competitor, but shortly after he recruited Christian, and then Edge, to form the Brood.

: Like Christian, Edge began his career in Ontario at Sully's Gym. He began wrestling in around 1993 in independent federations, using nicknames such as Adam Impact and Sexton Hardcastle. As Sexton Hardcastle, he formed a team with Christian called Sex & Violence who were semi-scuccessful. After a series of vignettes, Edge debuted in the WWF as a troubled soul who would viciously attack his opponents. He was Sable's mystery partner at a WWF PPV and briefly feuded with Gangrel, only to join him and form the Brood.

: Christian is originally from Ontario where he trained under the guidance of Ron Hutchinson at Sully's Gym. He made his wrestling debut in 1995, teaming up with Sexton Hardcastle (Edge). Together they worked the indy's as a team called Sex & Violence. After making his way through the WWF training camp, he debuted on Raw as Edge's brother, and as a member of the Brood. He proved himself to everybody by beating Taka for the Light Heavyweight title.
