Smooth Words

Hey All! Not much to talk about this week, just a few items that I wanted to address. First of all, I am once again very appalled at WCW. Recently, WCW gave Steve Borden (Sting) some time off to deal with "at home" issues. Yet, not too long ago, when Scott Hall needed time off for the same problem, WCW wouldn't give him any. This wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that Scott Hall needed the time off more than anyone else. I guess WCW wanted the alcoholic angle to be a tad bit more beleivable. Anyway, moving on. I want to address the entire Flair/Bischoff angle. I'm tired of hearing everyone say that WCW crossed the line by having Flair fake a heart attack. Hey! Get over it! If you don't like what's on WCW, get your happy ass up and change the channel to the WWF. Hell, you're more-likely to find a better angle there anyway. Now, let's talk about Ted Turner. Most of you probably know by now that I hate Ted Turner. Mainly for his monopolistic tendencies. Hell, this guy already owns half the media, why does he feel compelled to take over professional wrestling? I guess Ted Turner just wants to be known as the guy who makes the world turn. Now Turner's decided to run a prime time wreslting special on NBC directly against a WWF PPV, echoing the time when Turner's newly-bought WCW aired the first "Clash of the Champions" head-to-head with the WWF's WrestleMania IV. Ted Turner is simply trying to put Vince McMahon and all the other wrestling fed owners out of business. If we can put TicketMaster and Microsoft on trial for monopolistic tendencies, why not Ted Turner? Hell, Turner's bigger than TicketMaster, maybe even Microsoft. My point is that the World Wrestling Federation can not survive this billionaire's world domination wet dreams. I sincerely hope that this does not mean a sad future for professional wrestling. But alas, it will probably mean that someday soon, all of the top wrestling stars will be in WCW where they will properly misused. Well, that's all I have for today, if anyone wants to e-mail me with comments, feel free to go ahead, I appreciate any and all criticism. However, if you're going to disagree with anything I say, please try to do so in a civilized manner. Basically what I'm trying to say is to make sure that you know your damn role!
